40| Lily Pad Place in St George with Private Splashpad

We've stayed at Paradise Village 3 times now and this unit was the worst so far. The bones are the same as the other units, but here's the sour stuff: Splash pad doesn't work even though I followed directions and tried and tried, the hot tub water was dirty (I'm guessing it gets heavily used by all the kids staying this unit), the grill is really tiny and not good for any family over 4, there's no outdoor furniture (because it has a hot tub and splash pad taking up space, but since neither was usable, the "outdoor space" was useless). The propane tank fueled "fire pit" would stop if the thing was touched, and the doors on it wouldn't close so we kept having to re-light it. The ice maker made clicking noises from stuck ice a lot, the oven handle fell off when we opened it, the dryer door didn't work the entire stay (even though we called maintenance) - we had to hold the door closed with something heavy, there is no ping pong table even though the pictures show one, the pot/pan handles were very lose and dangerous when boiling water, even the can opener didn't work and we had to ask a neighbor to use theirs. Bar stools had no cushioning (old?)... outside the living room and bedroom furnishings, the place is cheaply supplied. Not worth the price and very disappointed that these units are not audited for these sort of items that match the price charged.

Love staying here. Have 4 kids 6 and under so it was perfect close to the pool and we could play at the splash pad outside during nap time or if the pool was busy.

This is the second time we've stayed in this community and we love it. The house had a great layout and was awesome. The only issue was the splash pad didn't work as expected. I called maintenance 3 times and was told someone would be out to look at it and no one ever showed up and I never heard back. It was a bummer we couldn't use the splash pad as expected as that was a main reason we reserved this location.

Such a fun place to stay. We had a blast here. Loved the hot tub and loved having a pool basically in our backyard. The splash pad had some issues and the water level didn’t get up very high, which was disappointing. Also, we had trouble with the drinking water from the fridge and next to the sink as neither would work. They did come to look at it but it didn’t fix the issue. Regardless, we had a blast here. Loved the kids bunk room. Love that there are two rooms with king beds. Would definitely recommend, just hopefully the splash pad and drinking water issues would be fixed by then.

Overall good space in the home. Many things were not operational. Items in the photos not present.

We have stayed in Paradvise Village for the past 4 years and always have been very happy! But we had several problems with this home and management was NO help! I would not recommend this house or Utahs Best Vacation Rentals again! We had trouble from the beginning, The first day- no internet, no pool key/ fob left. Contacted management and the following day and they dropped off a pool fob. I washed a load of laundry and went to put it in the dryer and the dryer wouldn't close. Called management again and they sent a handy man to fix it at 8:30pm and he couldnt fix it. He said someone would be there the next day and no one showed up nor called. SO we went the entire 7 days unable to do laundry. My son found a huge spider in the couch and after that my kids were scared and wouldn't sit in the living room. All of the dining room chairs had rips on the leather, very unkept. There was no instructions left for use of the lily pad.

We have stayed at this property four times over the last five spring seasons. We were very disappointed to see the general decline of the property since our last visit. The padding in the kitchen table chairs has gone way before its useful life and much of the coverings are peeling off. The chairs looked like something you would expect less fortunate individuals to be using. We actually moved one to the garage as it was so appalling. We found food crumbs on top of one of the bunk beds along with a large stain on the bedspread. The kitchens rugs and the rug underneath the table looked like they hadn't been washed/cleaned in a long time. The floors were free of crumbs but it was obvious they haven't been recently mopped as our grandson's socks would be filthy by the end of the day. (The adults made sure to wear slippers or flip flops whenever we were in the house.) There were only four spoons provided. One had been run through the disposal. There was a very limited number of forks. One of the two provided dish towels was so disgusting we moved it to the laundry room. There is zero attention to detail and it is obvious the owners are not reinvesting in their property. Two phone calls I made to the housekeeping number provided were not returned. It appeared as though the property management company had zero interest in attempting to resolve any of the concerns that we passed along. As much as we have enjoyed our past visits to this property, we do not plan to return. Paradise Village is an incredible property but we will avoid properties managed by Utah's Best Vacation Rentals in the future.

The location and community amenities are awesome in Paradise Village. The home we stayed in was very comfortable and a great location with the grassy area and pool right in the backyard. We were disappointed with some features and furnishings, though. The splash pad is very weak and not much water flows. The propane tank was empty so we couldn't do smores. The blender was broken. And all the dining chairs in the kitchen/dining room were in terrible shape. I would suggest upgrading some things and checking the status of amenities before renting the home out each time.

Overall our vacation was great because we were with family and didn't have to be cramped up in a hotel. We felt safe in the house and it was clean. The first triggering issue was the cotton plant decor. As an African American family we didn't understand the purpose so that was very upsetting. There was dining room furniture that was ripped up and an eye sore, and the dishwasher smelled like mildew. Other than those things the house was comfortable, our children had a blast, and we felt safe. However, We probably will never stay again because of the cotton plant. It was offensive and not even a nice decoration to accent the house :)

Very nice home near snow canyon. 2 king beds, private hot tub, access to on-site pools and water park. Big loaded kitchen. Great bathrooms. Very comfortable and accessible home. We hope to be return guests.

This house was clean, well stocked with everything our family needed, and the location was beautiful. The pools were lovely and the bunk room was so much fun for the kids. Very nice all around. We hope to return someday.

Our family loved this house for many reasons, of course the private splash pad was one! The hot tub was amazing and how close we were to the pool was perfect! There is a big field directly behind the house which was perfect for our boys to go play and run around. The house itself was very nice as well, it had everything we needed and just the right amount of space! We had to contact property management to help us with the splash pad and they were so quick to respond and very nice and helpful!

This home was perfect for our family. There were instructions for how to operate everything in the home, plenty of extras - bikes, games, toys. Our grandkids loved the bunk beds and the fun fox decor in their room. It backs onto green space which was nice to play cornhole and toss the frisbees.There is a paved bike trail nearby and it was fun to explore the area with beautiful red rock mountains and blue skies.
We did have a maintenance issue with one of the bathtubs and the management company sent someone over to repair it very quickly. The maintenance people were very professional and did the work while we carried on with our visit.
My only suggestion to the owners would be to provide more silverware and big bowls. The vacuum didn’t work very well and there were no rags to clean up with only paper towels. It would be nice to have more than 2 adult size chairs on the back patio to enjoy the fire.
It wasn’t as clean as it could’ve been but that was possibly that the vacuum didn’t work well.
Overall, I would definitely stay there again. It is so well situated and the living space was large with a lovely round table to enjoy conversations around. The responsiveness and friendliness of the management company was above par. It was nice to not have to worry about anything and enjoy our trip.

The home is even more spacious in person. Its very clean and open. The beds and linens are of a good quality. Kitchen is nicely stocked. Lots of board games and surprisingly all of the pieces and instructions are intact!

The location in the community is PERFECT. It opens up to a green belt and one of the two pools is pretty much in the backyard.

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place!

This home was beautiful and filled with things to entertain us. The bikes, the games, the splashpad, the pool toys. We LOVED the pools. Can't wait to visit again!

Very pleasant stay with small improvements needed. Comfy cozy and easy to use self service rental. Lots of wear on commonly used items, dishwasher and dryer and outside fireplace and seating need repairs. Cleaning service had left food in dining room and dirty diapers in a couple locations in the house. Overall, pleased with the accommodations and of course, the pool facilities made up for it all!

Awesome location and home. Perfect for our family of four with everything you would need to enjoy your vacation. Close to both the pools at Paradise Village. House was clean and well appointed. Conveniently located to all St. George has to offer including bike paths, Snow Canyon State Park, Bike Park, Grocery Store, Parks and more. Check in and out was very easy. Only downside to our stay was apparently the home is for sale, which we didn't know, so we had a few different unexpected visitors inquiring about the home.

We loved the location and the amenities at Lily Pad Place. This is one of the best homes we have ever used. We loved the games/bikes/activities that were part of the home's allure. The proximity to the pickleball courts was a real plus as a family that is one of our favorite activities. We also enjoyed how close we were to snow canyon. However, there was definitely a cleanliness issue. My daughter found someone's sock, and a hairball in her "freshly" made bed. That discovery cast a shadow over the cleanliness of the home itself. It was disconcerting to say the least.

Our only "complaints" would be most every spoon has been "chomped" by the sink disposal. We ended up buying plastic spoons to substitute. It would be well-advised for the owners/managers to provide a protector to minimize objects from going down the sink. We also had a difficult time understanding how to use the thermostat. It is a not user friendly. We had heat turning on at the strangest of times. But, do not let these quibbles distract from the quality property this home is. Paradise Village is a wonderful location with beautifully maintained pools. We hope to visit again soon!

This house is in a perfect Area for a family vacation. It’s a short walk to the waterpark, has a splash pad in the backyard, and a large grass area for kids to run around on. We loved our stay at this home, however the property was not well-kept and was dirty. When we first arrive we noticed the floor looked dirty, not mopped, little things here and there that weren’t a big deal. However as our stay progressed we found blood stains on our comforter, dead cockroaches under the bed, and dirty dishes in the cabinets. We contacted the property management company and they have yet to resolve this issue. I only hope they have at least replaced the bloodstain comforter so that no one else has to sleep with that.

The area is always so nice and well kept up. We love staying in the community when we come down to St George. The house was nice and kept up as well. Overall it was a good stay and worth the money.

We have stayed in several houses in PV. And in this house 4 times. This one is the best. It has the most games, bikes, kitchen accessories, bath accessories etc.. it has the best and the most of everything. The location is unbeatable, the hot tub is always maintained and hot. It’s so clean, and well maintained. We call it our second home. I truly wish it was!

We had a lovely weekend stay at this home and everything met or surpassed expectations. The home was very clean upon arrival and was well appointed. It's so convenient to have your own kitchen and laundry room and as we were returning from a trip to California we used the laundry room to catch up on laundry, which enabled us to pack less for our trip. We enjoyed the location and amenities very much. Because it was cold on Sunday my boys had the pool all to themselves and they were delighted with that. The home has some movies and games to enjoy and a couple of throws for chilly nights.
We had an issue on Sunday evening when the valve in the master shower went bad and we couldn't turn off the water, but Utah's Best responded quickly and the whole issue was solved in under 2 hours. Very impressive. You can't beat the beautiful location and the terrific vacation community. We'll return!

We were so impressed with the Paradise Village property as a whole. Well taken care of. Pools were wonderful! We didnt have a pool key and the rep. from the vacation rental was there in minutes to give us one. The lily pad home was the best!!! We had everything we needed and then some. My granddaughters used the splash pad many times. Everything was in great working order. We are hoping to rent it again and again.

This is the second house we have rented from Utah's Best and we loved it even more than the first house. The hot tub and splash pad were a perfect addition for our kids. The house was clean and had everything we could need including bored games and DVDs. When we checked in the hot tub was really dirty so I called and left a message and within 20 minutes someone was there to clean it out for us. We will be back for sure!!

We stayed #40 Lillypad, the house was beautiful, had all the kitchen essentials, however the Casita room is 5-10 degrees warmer than the rest of the house, and both the casita bathroom and other house bathroom had baby roaches all over, some dead and some alive. Was gross!

Home was great. Property description was accurate. All the comforts of home. Property was clean and well maintained. Management company was helpful and responsive. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend. We will also love to go back ourselves! We enjoyed the national parks. Swimming pool was nice. Bikes and ping pong table a plus.
